Sight Words
        Learning sight words is part of our balanced reading program.  Students will practice these "power words" flash card style, during our morning literacy block. Sight words are learned by memorization and make up 50-75% of the reading material presented to students.  If you would like to work with your child at home, use the lists provided below.  Start with the pre-primer list and work your way down.  Work with your child for a few minutes each night.
